TELEPHONE & TEXT COMMUNICATIONS
By engaging with our firm through methods such as calling, texting, scheduling a consultation, or providing your consent in any form, you authorize us to communicate with you via emails, calls, and text messages concerning your appointments, legal matters, or other pertinent interactions with our firm.
Your consent details and personal information required for scheduling will remain confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary to facilitate these specific services.
We adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and respect for privacy. We do not engage in cold calling or mass messaging without explicit consent from the recipients.
We may collect and store your email address in two ways: (1) if and when you sign up for the Green Economy Law email newsletter; or (2) if and when you contact us (a) by emailing one of the listed email addresses on our website(s), or (b) through one of our online contact forms. In all the aforementioned cases, your email is collected and stored.
(1) With respect to the newsletter, as you may anticipate, if you sign up by submitting your email, we may from time to time send marketing or promotional email communications to you. We use Squarespace Email Campaigns to manage our email newsletter. In this process, we and/or Squarespace may collect certain information such as the date/time you first opened our e-mail communications, the number of times you open our e-mail communications, the number of click-throughs per article, total click-through activity on the contents of our e-mail communications and compile generally the related statistics. We and/or Squarespace may combine and/or store any such information to manage and improve email communications to you.
In the newsletter emails we send out, we will include a link at the bottom of each email through which you can unsubscribe if you decide you do not want to receive any future marketing or promotional emails from us. (2) With respect to emailing us, visitors, such as yourself, may voluntarily submit Personal Information - such as, but not limited to, your first name, last name, and email address - to us for purposes such as booking a call or meeting. This information is collected to facilitate communication with us and obtaining the benefit of our services, and once collected, it is generally kept as long as necessary for record-keeping or future communication purposes.
INTERNET COMMUNICATION
Please note that Internet communications are vulnerable to interception, use, and/or alterations by persons other than the intended recipient. While we have implemented certain safeguards to reduce this risk, Internet transmissions to and from us (or anyone, really) are still vulnerable. We do not target or purposely offer any services to EU data subjects. In the event, however, that we inadvertently process or collect any information regarding EU data subjects, we will adhere to the Directive of 1995 and the GDPR from May 25, 2018 regarding the collection, use, and retention of Personal Information from EU member countries and Switzerland.
